National representatives of the ECVET European network

The recommendation of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union supports the purpose of the Commission to “promote a European ECVET Network” and to “establish, from within this network, an ECVET users′ group in order to contribute to the updating of the users′ guide and to the quality and overall coherence of the cooperation process for the implementation of ECVET”.    

Three representatives per EU State

All Member Statesappoint 3 national representatives :

  • Two of the three representatives are from national ministries responsible for vocational education and training (VET).
  • The third national representative is a relevant stakeholder involved in the implementation of ECVET.

ECVET Users’ group

The ECVET users’ group shall contribute to “the updating of the users′ guide and to the quality and overall coherence of the cooperation process for the implementation of ECVET”. The members are :

  • Member States representatives: one from the ministry (the second representative from the ministerial level is the substitute) and one “from the several stakeholders in the VET” 
  • EEA and candidate countries representatives
  • Representatives from employer organisation and social partners
  • Representative from national agencies for education and lifelong mearning
  • Representatives from the European Commission, CEDEFOP and ETF agencies.
