The Support Team

The support team brings together a multiple expertise and a European operational task force. Its main mission is to assist the ECVET European network members for the design of strategies to the operational implementation.

1 – The operational objectives

to provide an effective secretariat for the ECVET European network and to ensure that the network functions dynamically and efficiently,
to establish a resource and expertise centre able of promoting ECVET and of advising and supporting those who operate and promote ECVET in the countries involved in implementing ECVET and referred to in the Recommendation,
to develop and strengthen the ECVET networks at European, national and sectoral level,
to develop a permanent platform for the exchange and pooling of information and experience.

Main activities of the Support Team are, among others, the organisation of workshops dedicated to the users’ group of the ECVET Network, of seminars for members of the ECVET European network and of an annual forum.

The ECVET support team and its activities are financed by the European Commission.
