Who can become an ECVET European network member?

A membership applicant must prove its capacity to contribute to implementing the ECVET Recommendation. More specifically, the applicant must be responsible for, or be a relevant stakeholder in one or several functions regarding educational and vocational training systems and/or qualifications.

Organisations with design functions: design of qualifications, definition of formal or informal training programmes, definition of assessment or validation processes and procedures.

Organisations responsible for achievement and service functions: training services, organisation of formal or non-formal programmes, assessment of learning outcomes (formal, non-formal or informal), validation of learning outcomes (formal, non-formal, informal), implementation of certification/recognition procedures of learning outcomes (including issuing of certificates, diplomas …).

Organisations responsible for quality assurance and regulations in regards to Educational and Vocational Training (VET) and qualification.

Organisations responsible for information and advice functions: career-counselling and advice for young people and adults regarding training and qualifications (formal, informal and non-formal).

Organisations responsible for mobility assistance: information, organisation of mobility programmes, education and life-long learning, notably within the framework of community programmes and financing mobility.

Along with the above, any organisations, associations, or transnational networks, notably for developing combined actions and partnerships regarding Educational and Vocational Training or mobility and of its promotion, may also become network members.
